Tesla Trip Planning enhancements have arrived on its app, enabling owners to plan a journey directly on their phones.
Tesla App Update Version 420.69 will feature "Trip Planner", making road trips simpler than ever before.
Within the App, users can now enter their destination to determine routes and Supercharger stops necessary for travel. A "Send Car" button allows users to send this route information directly to their vehicles.
This feature can save time and ensure you arrive for any trip more prepared than ever.
Last December, Tesla announced they would offer this feature and in some markets already had it. Now it appears to have reached the United States.
Tesla Trip Planner only permits multiple destinations at one time, which many owners find disappointing. Furthermore, this current version does not feature Waypoints like in their in-car navigators system.
Elon Musk initially hesitated in adding Waypoints, but eventually relented and implemented them in November 2021 as "Add Stop," allowing drivers not only to plan out their destinations but also specific stops along their travel route - no road trip would be complete without stopping at an iconic landmark!
