Material
This is an ABS composite which has been layered with a carbon fiber wrap and a clear wrap to give it a carbon fiber look. This is not created with genuine carbon fiber layers. The look is deceptively convincing though wouldn't you agree?
Tesla Model 3 USB-C Compatibility
Please note that the USB-C ports in the new Model 3 are smaller than the USB openings in this AC vent however, the USB vent fits perfectly on top and provides full access to the USB ports as seen in the picture below.
